Crayon Physics

Crayon Physics is a beautifully simple game where kids (and adults) can learn and solve problems with basic physics. With excellent interaction design and math going on behind the scenes.

On a related note this reminds me of what Marc Prensky writes about in regard to digital game-based learning. Marc is famous for his visionary article Digital Natives, Digital Immigrants (2001) in which teachers and adults are immigrants in a digital culture. The youth are the natives, and the way we teach and learn looks different. A very interesting read and theory that rings true with games like crayon physics.
